Gem PR & Media is offering small independent businesses in central Illinois that are struggling as a result of the pandemic free public relations services.
The public and media relations company, based in Springfield, IL, with clients across the region, recently added business consultancy services to its repertoire. Owners Gemma and Chris Long moved the company from Europe to the US in 2014 and have focused on supporting local businesses and causes in Illinois in the past six years.
“We know how hard Covid-19 has been on small businesses this year, and so, with it being Thanksgiving, we wanted to offer support in the best way we know. We are offering anyone that is seeking advice about their public relations, social media, or business strategy a chance to talk with us, brainstorm ideas, and begin a plan for the year ahead,” said CEO Gemma Long.
Gem PR & Media has worked with Local First Springfield for the past three years, doubling its membership in 2017, created the Buy Local Month campaign and the annual awards, and established the Local First Springfield Gift Card.
