The Storyteller Studios named 2019 Communicator Award Recipient for Excellence in Film and Video Production
Springfield, IL (May 7, 2019) - The Storyteller Studios, a Springfield-based video production company, has been announced a recipient of the Excellence Award for Cinematography, Editing, and Corporate Image/Brand Film in the 2019 Communicator Awards out of New York City.
With over 6,000 entries received from across the US and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. Other Winners who received the competition’s highest honor, the Award of Excellence, include ESPN Films, Forbes Media, PepsiCo, Scorpion, WWE, and Publicis Sapient.
“We don’t do what we do for awards, but of course we’re proud of this recognition from the industry. It means a lot. And we’re grateful to our clients for trusting us with the work we do for them and for putting us in this position in the first place,” said Josh Hester, Principal and Executive Producer of The Storyteller Studios.
“We are extremely proud to recognize the work received in the 25th Annual Communicator Awards. This class of entries we received this season embody the ever-evolving marketing and communications industry” noted Derek Howard, director of the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, judges of The Communicator Awards. The Storyteller Studios was founded by Hester in Springfield in the spring of 2013. He and his team, including long-time assistant, Carrie Watson, and Associate Producers, Chris Costello and Lydia Stuemke create corporate films, web videos, and television commercials throughout the midwest. The work awarded was produced for a St. Louis-based company in Dallas, Texas last summer.
