The Illinois Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) at Lincoln Land Community College offers advising services and programs for individuals interested in starting or growing a business. Since the Center is a partnership of the US Small Business Administration, Illinois Department of Commerce, Lincoln Land Community College and Small Business Growth Corporation, nearly all of the services and programs provided by the ISBDC are offered at no cost to the client.  

The Springfield Sangamon Growth Alliance was created as the Land of Lincoln Economic Development Corporation (LLEDC) in 2018 as a public-private sector partnership dedicated to advancing economic development efforts in Springfield and Sangamon County in the State of Illinois. Led by a volunteered, diverse and industry-driven board of directors, our mission is to pursue economic prosperity and growth for Sangamon County and the City of Springfield.

Springfield's first and only university-led social innovation and business incubator. On August 1, 2018, Innovate Springfield became a part of the University of Illinois Springfield. Innovate Springfield is a unit of the Center for State Policy and Leadership. 

IWIL exists to promote professionalism and develop members' leadership and management abilities. This is done through education, mentoring, networking, member participation, encouragement as well as support, friendship and community involvement.

The Springfield Black Chamber of Commerce (SBCC) is an organization committed to the economic empowerment of African-American communities throughout Central Illinois. The SBCC also provides opportunities for business owners and other professionals to network and develop an awareness of business products and services.
